The Singapore stock market finished lower on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index down 43.51 points, or 1.54 percent, to close at 2,779.1.
A total of 1.6 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 37 billion Singapore dollars (1.08 billion U.S. dollars).
Losers outnumber gainers 369 to 68, while 342 others finished unchanged.
The STI index fell 8.45 points, or 0.3 percent, to close at 2, 822.61 on Thursday. |
