Belgian air force aircraft to transport MH17 black box to UK for analysis
A Belgian military aircraft flew Tuesday afternoon from Melsbroek military airport just outside Brussels to Kiev in Ukraine to retrieve the flight data recorders, or black boxes, from Malaysian flight MH17, according to a statement from the Belgian Ministry of Defense.
The two black boxes will be routed to Britain and will undergo specialized analysis.
According to the statement, specialized technical experts and representatives of the United Nations will examine the boxes.
