Giant to make show-based games

Online gaming company Giant Interactive Group Inc has reached an agreement with Shanghai Canxing Culture and Broadcast Co to produce online games based on reality shows in China, business news portal yicai.com reported Tuesday.

The first game co-developed by the two companies will be designed for smartphones, the report said.

Shanghai Canxing is the producer of popular reality shows includingThe Voice of Chinaon the Zhejiang TV network andSing My Songon China Central ?Television.
