To celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia and the arrival of Chinese giant panda "Fuwa","Fengyi" in Malaysia, Bank of China (Malaysia) officially issued "2014 Chinese Panda Gold and Silver Bullion Coins" on Monday.

Liu yue, the deputy director of Personal Banking of Bank of China (Malaysia), said the Panda Coins are of high value for investment and collection, and they will be popular around the world soon.

From 2015, coins will use gram and kilogram as measurement units and the 2014 Panda Gold coins will be the last coins measured by ounce. As the end of the "ounce era", they have high value in collection, he said.

The Panda Gold Coins first issued in 1982 have a history of 35 years. The Panda Silver Coins of one oz first issued in 1989 have 25 editions.
