Four dead, 12 injured in oil pipeline blast in Egypt

Four people were killed and 12 others injured on Wednesday after a blast of an oil pipeline in Egypt's eastern Suez province, a local source told Xinhua.

The explosion happened at midday Wednesday and caused a blaze in a Suez oil refining company, said a company source.

Fire fighters were struggling to quench the fire. The injured have been rushed to a local hospital.

The cause of the blast was not clear.
