A German tourist died in a submarine accident in Egypt's Red Sea resort Hurghada on Monday, the official news agency MENA reported.
The 69-year-old German famale was killed when her submarine sunk near Hurghada governorate's sea shores, MENA said.
The public prosecution has notified the German embassy in Cairo, and the corpse has been transported to the Hurghada morgue.
This is the second deadly submarine accident in the Red Sea this year. Three German tourists died on Feb. 9 when their submarine sunk near the seashore of Hurghada. |
