Myanmar will hold the Trade Exhibition and Car Expo 2012 at the National Theater in Yangon next month in order to create direct deals between customers and manufacturers, according to the exhibition organizer Friday.

The four-day trade exhibition attached with the car expo, organized by the Paing Aung Business Group, is scheduled to take place from March 29 to April 1.

The expo will feature car showrooms, automobile products, car agents, electronic products, fashion and textile products, heavy machinery, furniture and wooden products, computer and accessories, mobile and telecommunication products, health and education service, training centers, import and traditional medicines, stationery, agricultural products, travel agents and other consumer products, the exhibition source said.

Similarly, a largest automobile show last month, organized by the Smart Business Group, drew thousands of customers.

According to official statistics, up to October 2011, there were a total of 2.3 million registered motor vehicles including passenger cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles and others throughout the country.
