Thai court approves arrest of 4 Iranian suspects in Bangkok bombs

Thailand's Criminal Court on Thursday issued arrest warrants for four Iranians on varied charges concerning Tuesday's Bangkok bomb incidents as sought by police.

The court approval followed police submissions of photos of the suspects captured on closed circuit television, explosive devices seized from their rented house and the testimony of eyewitnesses.

Thai police have had in custody of two Iranian suspects -- Saeid Moradi, who lost both legs from explosion accidentally detonated by himself, and Mohammad Hazaei, detained while about to board a flight to Malaysia in the evening of the incident.

The third Iranian identified as Masoud Sedaghatzadeh was detained on Wednesday by Malaysian authorities in Kuala Lumpur at the request of Thai authorities.

The fourth person who remains at large is an Iranian woman identified as Rohani Leila, who was reportedly rented the house, using to compose explosive devices. She left Thailand on Feb. 5, TNN24 news channel reported.

Thai police pressed charges against Moradi namely producing explosives, possession of explosives, causing explosions that caused casualties and damaged property, attempted murder and attempted murder of a policeman. The other three suspects were only charged for the first three charges.
