| S. Korean, Tajikistani leaders mark 20th anniversary of tie |

South Korean President Lee Myung- bak and his Tajikistani counterpart Emomali Rahmon exchanged messages Friday in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of formal diplomatic relations between the two countries.
In the message, Lee noted expanding bilateral political, economic and cultural ties and voiced hope for further cooperation, his office Cheong Wa Dae said in a statement.
Rahmon took note of South Korea's economic, social and humanitarian assistance to Tajikistan and said he hopes to expand mutual cooperation, according to Cheong Wa Dae. |
