Five people, including three children, were killed when a fire engulfed a private house in southern Russia, the Emergency Situations Ministry said Tuesday.
"An emergency call about the fire in a private house in Donskoye village in Stavropol region was received at 4:22 a.m. local time (0022 GMT)," the regional department of the Emergency Situations Ministry said.
Firefighters found the burnt bodies of two women and three underage children at the scene.
According to the local department, the two women were visiting their friends with a little kid and the other two victims were the householders' children.
The fire, put out in 20 minutes, was supposedly caused by electric wire sparkling. An investigation is still underway. |
