A Palestinian teenager was killed and another wounded in clashes with Israeli army in the West Bank city of Hebron Thursday, medical sources and witnesses said.
The 15-year-old boy, suffering from a gunshot in the head, had already died when arriving at the hospital, said doctor Nasser Qabaja, adding Israeli soldiers took the injured Palestinian to an Israeli hospital.
The clashes erupted when Israeli forces stormed Yatta town to arrest a Palestinian freed in October under a prisoner exchange deal between Israel and the Islamic Hamas movement. The target managed to escape, witnesses said. |
