Exports to China and India apparently grew enormously, contributing the most to Indonesia's exports on non oil and gas products throughout last year, an Indonesian minister said here on Wednesday.
"China becomes the prime destination for Indonesia's non-oil and gas products exports last year. Exports on goods on that category tremendously grew by 53.4 percent throughout last year from a year earlier," Gita Wirjawan, Indonesian trade minister, said in a press conference held in the ministry here.
The second largest export destination country for Indonesia's non oil and gas products was India. The ministry learned that exports to India grew by 34.8 percent last year from a year earlier.
India seized the second largest export destination country last year, brushed aside Singapore and Malaysia to third and forth ranks of Indonesia's non oil and gas product exports destination countries.
Gita said that 60 percent of Indonesia's total non oil and gas products exported throughout last year, valued 122 billion US dollars, was produced by domestic manufactures. |
