The Fraport AG, a German airport group that operates the Frankfurt Airport, announced on Monday that the contract of its CEO would be extended to August 2019.
The supervisory board today approved a five-year contract extension for the company's executive board chairman Stefan Schulte, said a statement released by the company.
Schulte became the CEO of Fraport in September 2009 and his current term will expire in August 2014. Karlheinz Weimar, Fraport's supervisory board chairman said about the renewal of Schulte's term.
"Under Schulte's leadership, Frankfurt-based Fraport has further developed into one of the most influential airport managers worldwide. On behalf of the supervisory board, I wish him and the entire executive board success in their task ahead." Weimar commented.
