Albanian economy grew by 4.5 percent in the third quarter of 2018, the highest quarterly growth since 2011, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama declared on Monday during his speech at the year-end conference with the media.
According to Rama, Albania's economic growth is a healthy one, which has come as a result of a balanced growth of consumption and investment.
"This economic growth speaks for a much more competitive economy than a year ago," said the Albanian PM.
According to Rama, Albania's final consumption of the population increased by nearly 4 percent compared to the previous year.
"In the last five years there has been a steady increase in the final consumption of the population, making it since 2013 an average increase of 3.7 percent," said Rama.
