Spanish shares lost on Thursday, with the benchmark index Ibex-35 down 0.31 percent or 26.70 points, to close at 8,523.30 points.

A total of 19 of the selected 35 large companies lost in the day.

Technology solutions provider Amadeus lost 5.50 percent, followed by airline group IAG and hotel chain Melia Hotels that went down 3.32 percent and 2.89 percent respectively.

Infrastructure company Acciona advanced 2.06 percent, followed by Spanish company Telefonica and gas natural infrastructure company Enagas that went up 1.66 percent and 1.25 percent respectively. Enditem
