Spanish stock market gains 1.35 pct Wednesday
Spanish shares gained on Wednesday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 up 1.35 percent, or 117.90 points, to a total of 8,853.40 points.
A total of 34 of the selected 35 large companies rose in the day.
Supermarket chain DIA advanced 11.88 percent, being the top gainer of the session. Automotive company CIE Automotive rose 5.89 percent and Spain's largest bank Banco Santander went up 3.39 percent.
Spanish company Inditex went down 4.86 percent, while airline group AENA was up 0.28 percent and infrastructure company Tecnicas Reunidas dropped 0.48 percent. Enditem
