Spanish stock market gains 0.82 pct Thursday
Spanish shares gained on Thursday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 up 0.82 percent or 72.90 points, to a total of 8,926.30 points.
A total of 21 of the selected 35 large companies rose in the day.
Supermarket chain DIA advanced 10.47 percent, being the top gainer of the day. Spain's energy company Iberdrola rose 2.37 percent and Spain's second-largest bank BBVA went up 1.87 percent.
Consultancy and technology company Indra A lost 2.82 percent, being the top loser of the blue chips. Casing company Viscofan went down 2.70 percent and stainless steel manufacturer Acerinox was down 2.28 percent. Enditem
