China sweeps freestyle ski World Cup aerials titles
China swept the men's and women's titles in the 2013/2014 FIS freestyle skiing World Cup aerials series on Sunday.
Former world champion Li Nina won her first World Cup title following a 10-month injury layoff with the highest score of 94.11 points, beating a star-studded field that includes Olympic champion Lydia Lassila of Australia.
In the men's competition, Vancouver Olympics bronze medalist Liu Zhongqing of China grabbed the gold with a score of 127.15.
The World Cup freestyle skiing aerials series will next move to Beijing on Dec. 21-22.
