Death toll rises to 8 in China's building explosion
The death toll has risen to eight after Saturday's explosion triggered by detonators illegally manufactured and stored at a residential building in north China's Hebei Province, local authorities said Monday.
Five more bodies were retrieved while rescuers were clearing the debris in the city of Baoding, the city government said in a statement late Monday.
North China building blast kills 3, injures 34
The death toll has climbed to three after an explosion triggered probably by illegal manufacturing and storage of detonators at a residential building in north China.
The accident that happened at around 3 p.m. Saturday in Baoding City, Hebei Province also left more than 34 people injured, local police said Sunday.
