An earthquake measuring 5.7 Richter scale rocked eastern parts of Indonesia on Monday, the country's Meteorology and Geophysics Agency reported here.
The after shock struck at 09: 17 a.m. Jakarta time (0217 GMT) with epicenter at 82 km southeast Luwutimur of South Sulawesi and with the depth at 10 km under sea bed, an official of the agency told Xinhua. The Hong Kong Observatory reported that the 6.0 Magnitude quake hit Sulawesi, Indonesia Monday morning. |
