An earthquake measuring 7.0 on the Richter scale jolted eastern New Guinea region, Papua New Guinea, at 15:13 Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Network Center(CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of 200 km, was monitored at 5.5 degrees south latitude and 147.1 degrees east longitude, the center said. |
