Dollar changes hands in upper 110 yen zone in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 110 yen zone early Thursday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 110.87-88 yen compared with 110.92-111.02 yen in New York and 111.25-27 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro fetched 1.1738-1738 dollars and 130.13-14 yen against 1.1723-1733 dollars and 130.08-18 yen in New York and 1.1688-1691 dollars and 130.04-08 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon.
