Vietnamese military plane crashes, casualties unclear
A Vietnamese military aircraft exploded and crashed in Vietnam's central Nghe An province on Thursday noon, Vietnam News Agency reported.
Half of the small aircraft and many debris fell into a rice field in Nghia Yen commune, Nghia Dan district, some 100 km away from Nghe An's Vinh city.
The aircraft departed from Sao Vang airport in central Thanh Hoa province. Causalities of the accident remained unknown, the agency reported on Thursday noon.
A local official from the district told local online newspaper VnExpress that the crash caused fatality but the official did not specify the exact number of deaths.
