Dollar changes hands in lower 111 yen range in early Tokyo trade
The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 111 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, principally in line with its levels in New York late last week.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 111.28-29 yen compared with 111.19-29 yen in New York and 111.39-41 yen at 5:00 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1644-1645 dollars and 129.59-63 yen against 1.1616-1626 dollars and 129.25-35 yen in New York and 1.1556-1558 dollars and 128.72-76 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
