Turkey raises tariffs on some U.S. imports in retaliation, says report
Turkey's President Tayyip Erdogan signed a decree to raise the tariffs on some U.S. imports including cars, alcohol and tobacco, an official report said on Wednesday.
According to the report, the decree raised the tariffs on passenger cars by 120 percent, alcohol by 140 percent and tabacco by 60 percent. Tariffs on cosmetics, rice and coal were also increased.
