German shares close up 0.43 pct Tuesday
German stocks closed up on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index up 53.19 points, or 0.43 percent, to close at 12,384.49 points.
Commerzbank won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 3.02 percent. Automotive manufacturer BMW and chemical and consumer goods company Henkel rose by 1.68 percent and 1.54 percent respectively.
Multinational chemical firm Linde lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 0.52 percent. Multinational software corporation SAP and energy group E.ON went down by 0.29 percent and 0.28 percent respectively.
Multinational chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer was the most-traded share with a turnover of 391.94 million euros (450.73 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
