Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural commodities traded mixed on Tuesday morning, with wheat futures plunging after major exporter Russia said no to export limits.

The most active December corn was down 0.75 cent at 3.6425 U.S. dollars per bushel as of 1530 GMT, December wheat was 20.25 cents lower at 5.2525 dollars, and November soybean was up 6.75 cents at 8.5025 dollars.

Russia's Ministry of Agriculture said after meeting with exporters that there's no need to curb shipments of wheat as its grain market is stable. Analysts and market-watchers have been bumping the price of wheat in the past few weeks on speculation that the country would limit shipments.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture recently pegged Russian wheat exports at 35 million tonnes in the 2018-2019 marketing year that started on June 1, down from 42 million in the prior year.

As for weather forecast for agricultural crop, flash flood warnings and watches are again in effect for much of central Kansas into northern Wisconsin as storms hammer both areas, according to the National Weather Service. Enditem
