British stocks up 0.48 pct Monday
British stocks rose on Monday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.48 percent, or 33.31 points, to close at 7,029.22 points.
Randgold Resources, a gold mining business, soared 5.15 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Paddy Power Betfair and Fresnillo increased by 4.57 percent and 4.08 percent, respectively.
Bae Systems, a British multinational defence, security, and aerospace company, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 3.83 percent.
