Spanish shares gained on Monday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 up 0.38 percent or 32.90 points, to a total of 8,770.70 points.

A total of 23 of the selected 35 large companies gained in the day.

Media company Mediaset advanced 3.68 percent, telecommunications company Cellnex rose 2.86 percent and steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal went up 1.91 percent.

Consultancy and technology company Indra A lost 1.89 percent, automotive company CIE Automotive went down 1.09 percent and airline group AENA was down 0.96 percent. Enditem
