Pospisil edges Gasquet to reach Citi Open men's final
The 13th-seeded Vasek Pospisil fought hard to beat No. 6 seed Frenchman Richard Gasquet 6-7 (5), 6-3, 7-5 to get into the Citi Open final on Saturday.
It was an intense match for both player. Drawing 1-1 in the first two sets, Pospisil found himself 5-4 down in the decisive set. However, Gasquet didn't make full use of his good chance, allowing his opponent to win three straight points to take the victory.
Pospisil will meet the second-seeded Milos Raonic in the final.
