Three people were killed and 9 others injured early Tuesday in an accident involving five vehicles in Fukuoka Prefecture in southwestern Japan.
The accident occurred at around 2:10 a.m. local time when five vehicles including a truck and cars collided with each other on the Kyushu Expressway near Yame City in the prefecture, local press reported,adding that the truck turned over in the accident.
Local police said the 9 injured were sent to nearby hospitals. The cause of the accident is under investigation. |
