Moscow on Sunday said it has evidence suggesting Ukraine's far-right organization -- the Right Sector -- was behind the snipers' shooting in Kiev's Independence square last month, according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
The top Russian diplomat said Russia has ample evidence shared with its Western partners over the deadly shooting. "Let this lie on the conscience of those who did such exercises," he said.
Though not 100 percent sure about the conclusion, Lavrov said he hoped the Ukrainian leadership could carry out the inquiry and would not keep the results "under wraps."
The Right Sector was among the major anti-government protest groups in Kiev's Independent Square in February's clashes, during which scores of protestors were shot down by unidentified snipers.
