Ukraine has established seven new industrial parks so far this year, bringing the total number to 46, the Ukrainian Economic Development and Trade Ministry said in a report on Monday.
According to the document, the parks were established in seven different regions of western, central, northern, southern and eastern Ukraine.
The area covered by each of the newly-established parks varies from 15 hectares to about 60 hectares.
The creation of a network of industrial parks across Ukraine is one of the key elements of the country's strategy of regional development until 2020.
The initiative is aimed at developing technology-intensive industries, creating new jobs and attracting investment into regions.
Ukraine has built its first industrial park in 2000 in the city of Bila Tserkva, about 80 km southwest of Kiev.
