Inflation rate down in July in Tunisia

The inflation rate fell to 7.5 percent in July from 7.8 percent a month earlier, according to Tunisia National Institute of Statistics (INS) Monday.

The inflation rate rose from 6.9 percent in January to 7.1 percent in February, then reached 7.6 percent in March, and 7.7 percent in April and May.

According to Marouen Abassi, governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia, the country's economy witnessed a year-on-year growth of 3 percent in the second quarter of this year. Enditem
