French shares gain 0.54 pct Tuesday
French shares edged up on Tuesday with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 up 0.54 percent, or 28.95 points, to close at 5,408.60 points.
A total of 32 of the 40 selected large companies gained in the day.
International oil and gas industry service provider Technipfmc advanced 2.60 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. French infrastructure materials producer Saint-Gobain rose 2.25 percent and French digital service company Atos gained 1.76 percent.
French food services and facilities management company SODEXO went down by 0.89 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. Commercial property investor Unibail-Rodamco edged down 0.62 percent and French multinational information technology consulting corporation Cap Gemini lost 0.44 percent. Enditem
