British stocks down 0.34 pct Tuesday
British stocks decreased on Tuesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.34 percent, or 25.56 points, to close at 7,565.70 points.
British American tobacco, a British multinational tobacco company, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 2.37 percent. Imperial brands, another British multinational tobacco company, dropped 2.11 percent. Bhp billiton, a global resources company, fell 2.10 percent.
Kingfisher, an international home improvement company, soared 2.48 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Ocado group and Sage group increased by 1.94 percent and 1.61 percent respectively. Enditem
