Spanish shares gained on Monday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 up 0.24 percent or 21.70 points, to a total of 8,923.70 points.

Global operator of services and infrastructure Ferrovial advanced 2.63 percent, followed by infrastructure company Acciona and renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa that rose 1.51 percent and 1.43 percent respectively.
