British stocks up 1.31 pct Wednesday
British stocks rose on Wednesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 1.31 percent, or 92.25 points, to close at 7,128.10 points.
NMC Health, a private healthcare services provider, soared 5.24 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Glencore and Ashtead Group increased by 4.73 percent and 4.23 percent respectively.
