Nikkei opened higher Friday following overnight gains on Wall Street.
In the first 15 minutes of trading, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average rose 18.49 points, or 0.21 percent, from Thursday to 9,028. 14.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 0.50 point, or 0.07 percent, to 765.92. |
