Nikkei opened higher Monday with its key index up 0.47%.
In the first 15 minutes of trading, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average, which fell 2.99% last Friday, climbed up 40.45 points, or 0.47%, to 8,651.76.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange rose 1.85 points, or 0.25%, to 727.39. |
