Dollar hovers over 98 yen in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar hovered over the 98 yen line Wednesday morning in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 97.99-98.07 yen, compared with 98.00-10 yen in New York and 98.15-17 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.3266-3271 dollar and 130.00-03 yen against 1. 3257-3267 dollar and 130.07-17 yen in New York and 1.3270-3271 dollar and 130.25-29 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon.
