The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 96 yen range in TOKYO on Wednesday morning.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 96.87-89 yen compared with 97.00-10 yen in New York and 97.84-85 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.3389-3391 dollars and 129.70-73 yen against 1.3388-3398 dollars and 129.92-130.02 yen in New York and 1.3376- 3377 dollars and 130.87-91 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon
