Dollar trades in lower 97 yen range in early Tokyo deals
The U.S. dollar traded at the lower 97 yen level early Wednesday morning in Tokyo.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 97.29-33 yen compared with 97.21-31 yen in New York and 97.05-06 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The euro fetched 1.3420-3421 dollars and 130.58-66 yen against 1.3412-3422 dollars and 130.45-55 yen in New York and 1.3344-3345 dollars and 129.51-55 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon.
