Dollar trades at upper 98 yen level in early Tokyo deals
The U.S. dollar traded at the upper 98 yen level early Friday morning in Tokyo.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 98.88-89 yen, compared with 98.67-77 yen in New York and 98.21-22 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.
The euro fetched 1.3355-3356 dollars and 132.06-11 yen, as against 1.3352-3362 dollars and 131.80-90 yen in New York and 1. 3351-3352 dollars and 131.12-16 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon.
