Spanish stocks drop 0.85 pct Wednesday
Spanish shares lost on Wednesday with the benchmark index Ibex-35 down 0.85 percent, or 77.50 points, to close at 8,997.20 points.
A total of 28 of the selected 35 large companies lost in the day.
Supermarket chain DIA lost 15.04 percent, followed by airline group IAG and consultancy and technology company Indra A that went down 2.09 percent and 1.86 percent.
Renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa advanced 1.56 percent, real estate company Merlin went up 1.21 percent and pharmaceutical company Grifols rose 0.66 percent. Enditem
