French shares drop 1.47 pct Monday
French shares lost on Monday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 down 1.47 percent, or 70.75 points, to close at 4742.38 points.
Of the 40 selected large companies, 36 lost in the day.
International oil and gas industry service provider Technipfmc drop 4.57 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. French car manufacturer Peugeot went down by 3.99 percent and another French automotive manufacturer Renault edged down 3.98 percent.
French multinational retailer Carrefour advanced 0.62 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. French multinational pharmaceutical company Sanofi rose 0.47 percent and French food services and facilities management company Sodexo gained 0.34 percent. Enditem
