German stocks rose on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index up 160.12 points, or 1.42 percent, to close at 11,447.51 points.
Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 3.74 percent. Multinational building materials company HeidelbergCement and semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies rose by 3.65 percent and 3.63 percent respectively.
Deutsche Post lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 2.30 percent. European health care company Fresenius SE went down by 1.40 percent. Housing association Vonovia decreased by 0.05 percent.
German multinational software corporation SAP was the most-traded share with a turnover of 361.34 million euros (408.96 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
