French shares gain 1.35 pct Tuesday
French shares edged up on Tuesday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 up 1.35 percent, or 63.82 points, to close at 4806.20 points.
A total 36 of of the 40 selected large companies gained in the day.
World Leader in 3D Design & Engineering Software Dassault Systemes advanced 4.98 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. International steel producer Arcelomittal rose 3.40 percent and French multinational automotive supplier Valeo gained 3.13 percent.
French financial group AXA drop 0.87 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. French international food company Danone went down by 0.25 percent. Enditem
