French shares edged up on Wednesday with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 up 2.15 percent, or 103.25 points, to close at 4,909.45 points.

All the 40 selected large companies gained in the day.

French digital transformation leader Atos advanced 6.41 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. French distilled beverages producer Pernod Ricard rose 5.91 percent while French car manufacturer Peugeot gained 4.65 percent. Enditem
